Galaxy Ball is a daylong gala event hosted by actor Robert Beltran and benefitting the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles. DSALA serves thousands of Los Angeles individuals affected by Down Syndrome through education, counseling, employment, and public awareness programs. Galaxy Ball 2000 funds are raised for DSALA through ticket sales, program advertisement sales and both silent and live auctions. The 2001 Galaxy Ball was held on November 10
at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, Universal City, CA.
